What is High Frequency?
The High Frequency facial is a skincare treatment used by professionals to help treat and prevent stubborn acne, shrink enlarged pores, reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, decongest puffy eyes, fade dark eye circles, rejuvenate the condition of the scalp and nourish hair follicles for healthier hair growth. How does it work?
High Frequency is a safe, gentle and oxygenating power of high frequency current that has been shown to enhance blood circulation, increase collagen, elastin production, eliminate toxins and acne-causing bacteria, encourage lymphatic drainage, exfoliate dead skin cells and improve skin care product absorption. The primary action of high frequency current is thermal (heat-producing) and is characterised by a high rate of oscillation. Due to its rapid rate of oscillation, High Frequency does not cause muscular contractions – instead, it works on the principle of skin toning.

Starting with Ozone steam, this has a disinfecting, sterilizing effect that helps fight acne. It also helps to get rid of toxins and impurities. The heat from the steam opens the pores and softens the skin ensuring maximum result for extraction. A double cleanse is performed to thoroughly remove all makeup grime and dirt from the skin. High Frequency current is then performed over the entire face concentrating on the concern areas. Using a combination of massage movements and lymphatic drainage techniques.
